Hi there! My name is Dale Wallace aka The DoTheWork Coach.
I have been working within the industry for over fifteen years now and my goals haven’t changed a bit. I came into the industry as a eighteen year old wanting to spend my career helping people achieve their goals & it’s pretty cool that I’m still here, because most PT’s don’t make it beyond their 12 months!
Fifteen years and comfortable over 30,000 hours experience later, I am still working to this each day. One by one, client by client with small daily improvements I aim for positive change in people’s lives. I fully believe you must maintain a positive balance with health and your social life but not without that initial hard work and change to initiate that lifestyle change.
I believe that mental health needs physical support and I also believe that part of growing as a person is to be able to voluntarily take on hard things which we can do every day or several times per week in the gym.
All of my coaching services are geared towards weight loss and long-term behaviour change & of course the DoTheWork mentality.
The Birth of DoTheWorkHQ
I founded DoTheWorkHQ in June 2023 having spent all of my previous years in commercial gyms. I decided that I had a bigger vision for the ‘DoTheWork’ movement and I couldn’t make that vision a reality in someone else’s gym.
The vision was to coach and cultivate a culture in as many people as possible to live and breath the DoTheWork mentality, not just in the gym but in their personal lives to, so that they could live up to their potential.
I also wanted to create an environment that was welcoming to my clients, especially those who are new to the gym environment. I didn’t believe that the big box gyms really cared about their members and so I wanted to create a space that was inclusive, was supportive and conducive to the ladies who I help.
Out of this vision DoTheWorkHQ was born.
I truly believe that I’m not really a weight loss coach, I’m a transformational coach, because it’s not about the number on the scales, it’s about what making the changes does to my clients health, fitness & confidence. It’s about how it allows them to be happier and how that rubs off to the most important people around them – it’s way deeper than just weight loss.
