Best decision I made at the start of 2023 joining one of Dale’s group ladies sessions. This was a great way to get back into a gym environment, gain confidence & meet other ladies with similar goals. I quickly realised I wanted to push myself more so I moved onto 121 PT with Dale and I set myself a goal for September this year. It’s not just about losing weight/toning up, it’s been a mindset change on a number of levels and the services Dale provides supports all of this. During my fitness journey so far the support Dale has provided has been nothing short of excellent! Dale has been my coach for nearly 2 years and I wouldn't go with anyone else. When I first started I had a poor mindset of "I'll do that later" or "it's not that important" and Dale has helped me to hold myself more accountable for my actions and the results I've seen because of this are amazing. Firstly I've lost all excess fat so I can now see my abs, chest, arms, back and legs have become much more defined, and secondly I have learned to enjoy exercise, whether that is a gym session, a walk with the dogs, a run or a mountain climb. I have much more energy as a result of exercising and eating better and I'm more confident in myself and my body. For anyone who isn't sure whether you can afford a PT, I want to say 2 things. 1. If something is important to you, then you owe it to yourself to invest the time and or money into that, whether that is to lose weight, tone up, become stronger, become more confident, eat better etc the list goes on. 2. With Dale you get much more than a PT. He will help you plan your exercises and meals the same as any PT, but he will also teach you how to do this yourself so you know how to maintain the momentum and keep moving forward. And I also have to say that he isn't only interested in how you are doing with your fitness goals, he has become more like a friend to me that I train with and he will help you understand your potential outside of the gym and hit personal goals as well like getting that promotion or gaining more confidence. I also want to point out that Dale has a full list of clients and will make you feel like you are the priority whilst also introducing you to a group of like minded people that will support you 100% of the way. We have group meet ups as well for things like hiking or getting out for a Christmas drink. I'll leave you with this, you won't ever regret investing in yourself, you will however regret spending another year stuck in the same routine and not knowing how to make yourself feel better. I started with Dale during Covid when I was not able to go to gym classes. I had only used the gym for classes and the cardio part of the gym, and therefore had no idea about weight training. I also did not have the confidence, or, or so I thought, the desire to weight train. However since training with Dale I feel so much stronger, am very confident in the gym, and love weight training now. The DotheWorkHQ is really well setup with the necessary equipment and one-to-one training really feels like that now. I have also done one of the Bootcamp classes which was very challenging. At the end of the 2021 golf season I'd had a pretty poor season and not much success to show for my decline. I had toyed with the idea of using a PT to try and get ahead for the 2022 season. Combining my love for the gym to get some gains from the gym to make me better on the golf course. So i took the plunge and called dale to discuss what could be done. So after an initial phone call we did an assessment in the gym which then enabled dale to put together 3 month programme which i extended to 4months because i got so much enjoyment /satisfaction from the workouts. His tuition was brilliant. Very detailed. Dale went above and beyond. After the 4 months Dale has given me the knowledge and confidence to continue working out in the gym on my own. As for the golf . Soo far i feel stronger fitter healthier on the course. Faster swing more control which has resulted in some very good gains. Hopefully this will be a successful season. I read Dale's emails every morning on the bus! I love his no nonsense approach to educating and motivating people. If you follow him on Instagram you will find his short videos make perfect sense as you relate to some of the barriers he talks about that are the only things that are stopping you from reaching your goals.
